Before the Bath, a Little Ritual
Five bath menus, with flowers on the tray and their colours carried into the bed.
A tray has been placed on the bed. There is a jar of bath salts, a small bottle, a folded cloth and flowers chosen to match the embroidery on the pillows. Beside them, a sleep mask hints at the evening still to come.
For this LILTERIEUR series, we imagined a bath menu that reaches into the bedroom. Each preparation has its own botanical or mineral inspiration, reflected in the glass, the textiles and the bedside flowers. The bath becomes part of a longer evening, beginning with the pleasure of finding everything ready.

Chamomile and Linden: Cream and a Little Yellow
Small white flowers, yellow centres and soft green leaves set the palette. On the pillows, embroidered stems follow the edges of creamy fabric, framed by a smooth border that catches the lamplight. Larger white pillows behind them keep the arrangement fresh.
The tray repeats these colours in miniature: pale bath salts, a milky glass bottle, an ivory sleep mask and a rolled yellow towel. A few chamomile stems stand beside the preparations, with a fuller bouquet on the nightstand.
We imagined a gently herbal, honeyed fragrance for this setting. Pale wood and a softly textured headboard give it an easy warmth, like the last light of a sunny afternoon.

Rose and Sandalwood: An Evening in Pink
Dusty rose, burgundy and ivory bring a richer mood to the bed. The upholstered headboard provides a soft pink backdrop, while fine burgundy lines frame the white pillowcases. In front, embroidered roses spread across the outer edges of two pink cushions.
For the bath, the imagined pairing is a full rose fragrance with a creamy, woody sandalwood note. A rose-tinted jar and a small bottle of golden oil sit beside a porcelain pot and scoop. The burgundy sleep mask rests on folded fabric, echoing the darker flowers in the vase.
Walnut and warm brass give the pinks depth. It feels like a preparation for an evening with no further plans: a bath, fresh bedding and time to stay a little longer.

Sage and Lemon Balm: A Garden in the Details
Here, the leaves lead. Sage-green borders frame the large white pillows, and the smaller cushions combine a subtle woven leaf pattern with more distinct embroidered stems. The two treatments reveal themselves differently as the light moves across the fabric.
The bath menu follows a fresh herbal direction, pairing the aromatic character of sage with the citrus-green impression of lemon balm. On the tray, a green bottle, pale salts, a small fabric sachet and an olive sleep mask sit against a light surface. A folded green cloth brings the colour into something useful and familiar.
The bedside arrangement is loose and leafy. With muted wood and a warm neutral headboard, the room feels quietly connected to a garden.

Sea Minerals: The Colour of Water
Pale blue, white and sea-glass green make this the lightest, coolest setting. Fine lines edge the larger pillows, while the front cushions carry softly rippling patterns and embroidered curves that suggest the movement of water.
The bath concept takes its cue from sea minerals and a fresh coastal atmosphere. Clear crystals in a glass jar, a translucent blue-green bottle and a silvery sleep mask continue that idea across the tray. White flowers keep the arrangement airy.
Dark wood beneath the bedside vase adds a warmer note. The effect recalls a room near the sea, where light shifts across the walls and a bath feels like a natural way to end the day.

Lavender: The Evening Turns Lilac
Lavender appears as both colour and flower. The headboard is a soft grey-lilac, the front pillows a deeper mauve, and their woven botanical pattern is overlaid with delicate lavender embroidery. Plum piping gives the edges definition.
The same shades return in the tinted bath-salt jar, the folded towel and the satin sleep mask. A pale bottle and white ceramic pieces lighten the tray, while fresh lavender stems rise from a small vase.
We imagined the fragrance with both its floral and dry herbal qualities. Against the amber light of the bedside lamp, the lilac tones feel particularly soft. This is a room for drawing the curtains and letting the evening take its time.
Prepared Just for You
The appeal of a bath menu begins with choosing what suits the moment. A floral mood one evening, something green and herbal the next, or an unscented preparation with the same care given to its presentation.
In these concepts, the pillows carry that choice into the room. Their borders, colours and embroidery belong to the same composition as the flowers and small vessels on the tray. Thick cotton sits beside smooth glass; a polished scoop rests near a softly folded cloth.
By the time the tray is moved from the bed and the bath is ready, the evening has already begun.
